Bah, 6 down 4 to go. The top photo is an example of a test I did to see how I liked the square format for my photo series, which is the second part of my grad show. I like it, printing should take place tomorrow because I have my images ready. Only a few weeks left.

I was sketching out the next cross stitch and then I flipped it over and saw that I had made a new friend, how convenient.

My "fort"

This was my submission to a photo project done on booooooom.com, the focus is on forts. People were asked to contribute photos of their personal spaces; which was an idea inspired by Where the Wild Things Are. There are a lot of really awesome things people came up with see more (including the post I am in) here:

Home Set

This is a series of photos I took to add to my work exploring homes. These specific ones deal with life in a rental home and the idea that things are allowed to be in less than perfect condition. I tried to shoot things in a way to abstract the literal view of the places and make the images more about color and in some instances texture.

Done and done. My third cross stitch from the Rorschach series is complete. Only 7 more to go, but only a little over 5 weeks till the show! Time to get down to business!
