Get excited.

I'm going on a trip, photos will be taken, posts will be made.
Meanwhile, check out my freckles.

Thank You Cards

These were just some inexpensive thank you cards I made to send out. I really love hand making cards.
The text was a large stamp, which I embossed in black. The orange flower had an adhesive attachment on the back, which made things easier than trying to deal with a brad.

New Direction

This is like embroidery doodling. Just practicing some stitches and I randomly decided to do a shirt and tie. Can't wait to start doing the books of patterns I got.

Christmas

I used my mardi gras beads to create these little Christmas trees. Now I need to figure out what to do with the remaining strands. They are a lot cuter in real life.

Grad Stuff

One week until I am done with college undergrad, yikes. I got my cap and gown and handmade all my announcements. I liked making them, it is so much more personal.

From a few years ago

I miss my long hair so much. I found this old Polaroid pull apart positive in a box of photos I was cleaning out. So ridiculous.

BFA Graduation Exhibition

The show finally came and went. Above is an image of my show cards, which came in the mail ONE DAY before the show.
My roommates Hailey and Liz also exhibited in the show.
Two if my close friends Allison and Hiller were able to come up for the opening reception.
I had my 8 photos A Kind of Sickness on one wall. They were about love becoming a delusion and personal obsession.
My cross stitches took up another wall in the main gallery. The photos were on the wall to the right of this one, which was a small hallway.

It is amazing how different art will look once it is finally on display. I worked so long on this show that seeing the end result was fantastic and well worth the effort. It was amazing to have such support from all of my friends and family. Great end to my college experience.
