This is my most recent Hiller Goodspeed embroidery. Might be my favorite so far, even though it has fewer teeth than the original illustration.

I photographed the Lemp Wedding last weekend in Orlando. This weekend I will be doing some edits.

Heat Wave

It is insanely hot in Baltimore right now, and my house has no AC. It is making me a little crazy. I haven't made art in awhile so I decided to do some brainless embroideries to get myself reacquainted. The series I am working on (started yesterday) is just quotes from movies I like. More specifically- my favorite identifiable line from any specific film. The first one I did is from [500] Days of Summer and is pictured below, while the second is from Rushmore. As always, I found the back of the stitches quite interesting. I'm planning on doing some more of these until ideas start flowing.
